Capital Tractor has sold industrial equipment for over forty years, but  only since the formation of New Holland Construction in the year 2000 have we had a full lineup of new mini , mid-sized  and full-sized excavators , dozers , wheel loaders  and telehandlers  to complement the familiar Ford New Holland backhoes  and New Holland Super Boom skid steer loaders we've sold for decades .  This was more than just a matter of ordering machines to sell- it marked a commitment for Capital Tractor to invest in parts , service  training, special tools and equipment needed to represent the brand with the professionalism and dedication it deserved.  The result has been a Capital District landscape that is increasingly dotted with a new shade of yellow- that of New Holland Construction.  Despite a fairly mature market and some challenging economic times Capital Tractor has shown consistent growth in the heavy equipment marketplace, winning several dealer awards for sales and market share growth.  In addition to the many new units we have sold to area contractors, our rental  fleet has been a terrific way to both gain both exposure and credibility, while at the same time creating good, clean, late model used equipment  for us to offer to customers looking for reliable machines.

If you live anywhere in the New York State Hudson River area counties of Albany, Columbia, Essex, Fulton, Greene, Hamilton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Warren or Washington, Capital Tractors locations in Greenwich and Latham are the sole authorized dealer for New Holland wheel loaders, loader backhoes, telehandlers, dozers and excavators.  We also won New York State OGS Contract awards for wheel loaders, skid steers and loader backhoes as part of a multiple award in those same counties.
